Five stone garnet Victorian style ring

What a cool ring, this gold piece with 5 stone set in a raised scroll engraved and pierced setting. We can never get enough of this vintage, Victorian style. The stones are oval-cut garnets with a great vibrant red color. The central garnet is slightly larger than the ones next to it, measuring about 6.5 mm x 4.5 mm. The two garnets next to it are about 6 mm x 4 mm, the last two measure about 5 mm x 3 mm. They are matched well in color and are all in great condition- no visible nabs or scratches to the surface- in really great vintage condition. The claw setting and  subtle pierced engravings around the stones and scrolling edges give this band a special Victorian look. The side is somewhat raised from the finger, at about 3 mm from the band to the top of the setting. This gorgeous ring is hallmarked for 9kt gold and a more modern vintage (made after 1970).
