Opal boat ring inter spaced by tiny sapphire
Such a timeless piece, this beautiful opal ring with three opal cabochons in a boat setting made from solid 9kt gold. The opals are inter spaced by 2 tiny sapphires in a round cut, four in total. They measure about 2 mm in diameter each, which translates to about 0.05 carat. Their color is a dark blue, setting off perfectly against the bright opals. The opals are bright and see-trough, especially the largest middle one, that has a white undertone with color play ranging from green, to yellow, pink, with some orange coming through. The middle opal measures about 5 mm x 3.5 mm. The opals at the end are round and measure about 2 mm in diameter. The setting has pierced details to the side of the setting, holding the stones up, finishing the beautiful look of this ring. What a great model to combine with the rest of your collection, or to let shine on its own. Hallmarked for 9kt gold, made in London in 1994.
