Oval cut amethyst surrounded by diamonds in 9kt gold ring

We love this oval cut amethyst surrounded by 6 little round diamonds and set in its 9kt gold claw setting. The stone is beautifully cut and the centerpiece to this beautiful ring. Its deep purple color will brighten up any day. And with the orientation of the stone being landscape or oblong and the diamonds set at the front of the claw setting, this piece is just that bit different. Hallmarked QVC for its maker, made in Birmingham in 2002.
