18kt gold and platinum art deco square-shaped diamond antique ring

What a gorgeous luxurious ring, this antique art deco platinum diamond stunner. The square tilted diamond-shape front is set with 5 diamonds that sparkles happily in their setting. Each of the diamonds is about 1.8 mm in diameter, which translates to about 0.025 carat each. The detailed hand work and milgrain details on this is mind blowing- tiny details shaped around the diamonds, the platinum is worked to perfection. The band is 18kt gold and the front is platinum, very typical of 1920s art deco style rings and usually done to make a ring sturdy and strong. It is slightly raised from the finger. The diamonds are a round cut, lots of shine and clarity, almost see-through. The base and band are a smooth, shiny gold. This ring is in stunning condition. Hallmarked for 18kt gold and platinum, and our informed guess is that this was made in the 20s in the UK, where it was curated.
