Antique 15kt gold band set with turquiose

For a gorgeous antique like this, you can always get us excited. 15kt gold was used in the UK specifically in the period around 1900, and this original piece is such a gorgeous example of the work done in that time.

The band is set with a total of 10 small round turquoise cabuchons, in a sort of cross over design. One is slightly darker than the rest and may be a replacement - all in all the stones are well matched in color and they have little scratches. The base of the band has some elegant scrolling detail to finish off the epic look of this ring.

There are unfortunately no more hallmarks, possibly the result of a resizing. The ring tests as 15kt solid gold and places in around 1900 based on the make and model.

This ring will be hard to be resized due to the turquoise. Please note this is a soft stone and we always recommend taking extra care when wearing this type of stone when performing physical activities to enjoy it as long as possible.
