18kt Amethyst victorian style boat ring inter spaced by diamonds

What a timeless piece, this beautiful Victorian-style ring with three oval-cut amethyst in a boat setting made from luxurious 18kt gold. Between the three oval amethyst are 4 old-cut diamonds. The amethysts are great quality and condition, especially the largest middle one, that has a bright purple color. The middle garnet is about 7 mm x 5 mm, the two smaller ones flanking it measure about 6 mm x 4 mm. The old-cut diamonds set off great against the purple hues of the amethyst, the outside two a bit darker purple than the middle one. The setting holds up the stones with claw settings and open-worked sides, finishing the beautiful airy look of this ring. This is a revival piece: not made in Victorian times (around 1900) but rather in London in 1975. What a great model to combine with the rest of your collection, or to let shine on its own. Also hallmarked PSLd for its maker and for 18kt solid gold and in great vintage condition.
