Moss agate in 9kt gold bezel setting

Oh moss agate! I've been looking for this elusive gorgeous natural gemstone for a while. A beautiful green and red-orange cabochon moss agate is the star of this beautiful ring. This is not actually moss (it just looks like it) - its actually a form of chalcedony with colorful inclusions created by different minerals and metals. And this large moss agate has alll the patterns and colors, from dark green to see through to orange, so special. The 9kt bezel setting holds up the stone, with a thing rope twist border. The shoulders are slightly split and come together to form a solid band and finish off the beautiful look of this ring. The color of the moss agate is light and seethrough underneath, with a muddled mossy green and red-orange pattern. The stone is about 19 mm x 13 mm, a great large size. Hallmarked for  9kt gold, made in Birmingham in 1994. This ring is in great condition, the stone only has light wear and is especially unique because of its size and inclusions.
