18kt tourmaline antique boat ring inter spaced by diamonds made in 1917
What a timeless piece, this beautiful Victorian-style ring with three oval-cut tourmaline stones in a boat setting made from 18kt gold. Between the three oval tourmaline are 4 brilliant-cut diamonds. The tourmaline has great color and condition, deep dark pink with a hint of red. The middle tourmaline is about 5.5 mm x 4.5 mm, the two smaller ones flanking it measure about 3.5 mm x 2.5 mm. The quality of the diamonds is great, they shine enthusiastically next to the pink rubies. They measure about 1.5 mm in diameter each (about 0.015 carat each, a total of 0.06 carat). The setting is open on the side, with claws going towards the stones and all set in a smooth band, finishing the beautiful look of this ring. This is a true antique, hallmarked P&S for its maker, for 18kt gold and made in Chester in 1917.
