Antique 18kt gold garnet and diamond star-set scalloped band ring
This breathtaking antique band ring has one round garnet and two round-cut diamonds in a star-setting all enveloped in a luxurious 18kt solid gold band. The flush setting gives this ring a typical English antique look that is easy to combine or wear on its own. The middle garnet is about 4 mm in diameter, with a great shiny clear reddish pink purple color and is round-cut. It is flanked by two round diamonds, both with some wear consistent with their age. They measure about 1.7 mm in diameter each, which translates to approximately 0.02 carat each. The scalloped edges of the band, combined with the engraved shaped sides finish off the look of this epic piece. Hallmarked for 18kt gold and made in Chester in 1889, which means this a genuine antique.
