Five stone opal Victorian style ring
What a cool ring, this gold piece with 5 stone set in a raised scroll engraved and pierced setting. We can never get enough of this vintage, Victorian style. The stones are round-opal cabochons with an overall white undertone and some yellow and green rays shining through. The central opal is slightly larger than the ones next to it and has a mostly white tone with some green tiger stripes deeper in the stone. Next to it are two slightly smaller opals with orange and green hues, with two slightly smaller opals on the ends with mostly white and green hues. The claw setting and subtle pierced engravings around the stones and scalloped edges give this band a special vintage look. Even the front of the ring has subtle engravings n between the stones. The ring lays slightly higher on the finger, a typical look that sets this style apart. This gorgeous ring is hallmarked for 9kt gold and made more recently (after 1975).
